Manushi Chhillar's batchmates, roommate, share thoughts about Miss World 2017

Behind the glittering crown of Miss World were years of dedication and hard work, revealed Manushi Chhillar's friends.

ndia is now celebrating the historic win of Manushi Chhillar, for bringing back the crown of Miss World to the country after a gap of 17 years.
But behind all the glitter and glamour was Manushi's dedication and passion for her work.
She was Miss campus, Miss Haryana, then Miss India and now Miss World. This tallest, brightest young aspiring doctor of BPS always knew she was meant for more.
Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar is a medical student from BPS Women medical College in Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat. She had competed one and half year of the course but she is yet to complete 3 other semesters. "She was my batchmate and she could study with us for a year but thereafter she couldn't concentrate as she had to wake up early and sleep so late," said Rashmi Morar, her batchmate.

Friends say she is extremely focused and maintained a strict lifestyle for herself. From diet to academics, she had her own deadlines. She was the first one to wake up in the hostel and last to hit the sack as she has to balance between studies and rest. "Her diets most of the time had food like broccoli while jogging was part of the regular routine which we did together," said Smriti Kasa, her batchmate.
College mates say she is a perfect definition of an all-rounder. Dancing, painting, studies--she always lead the stage for everyone. Manushi is an ace classical and belle dancer. She still contributes to the college magazine.
"Manushi wrote in this magazine about her experiences, after winning the title of Miss India. She is an extremely good dancer. She is a classical and belle dancer and performed in our college in various events," said another batchmate.

After winning Miss India World 2017, Manushi could not continue with her studies and hence decided to take a break and prepare for Miss World. But her passion for health and women health is immense. Her project is related to menstrual hygiene. "Her current project is on women Shakti, menstrual and cleanliness. She is passionate about health and body," said another friend.
